Özet:
Rapidly increasing population and increasing number of vehicles reduce the efficiency of freight transport activities in urban traffic and caused the increase of negative impact on the environment and traffic jams. In urban areas effective routing approach is gaining more and more importance to regulation of increased freight traffic, creation of load and transport corridors and to provide effective load and transport clusters. The number of mathematical and algorithmic modeling based routing works has increased with the widespread use of computers and the development of computer systems and studies in this area have been close to the truth day by day. Appropriate value distribution and transportation routes can be determined with modern techniques of working in vehicle routing.
It is trying to be organized in city traffic with urban logistics operation which is taking into consideration environmental constraints and the needs of city and citizens. In this thesis, distribution points defined randomly in Istanbul City and created the mathematical model according to euclidean distances with Weka 3.7 programme. After defining the clusters vehicle routing algorithm created that will provide optimal routing to reduce Istanbul city traffic and it is intended to test. The model will be established routing of vehicles in the city to reduce traffic congestion by clustering the distribution points. Keeping under control the number of vehicles in the traffic / in the cluster will provide important contributions to urban traffic and will perform the solution of major problems.
