Özet
Purpose
This study aims to determine how the Digital Game Addiction Awareness Training (DGA-AT), provided to mothers of sixth-grade students, affects children’s digital game play routines and mothers’ awareness levels regarding digital game addiction.
Design
In this study, the quasi-experimental design with cluster random sampling was used.
Methods
The study was conducted with 73 mothers (education group: 32, control group: 41) from two middle schools in Istanbul, Turkiye, between December 2023 and March 2024. The awarenes levels of the mothers in the control group were measured at the same times as those in the education group.
