Özet
This review examines the intersection of digital methodologies and ethics in the context of contemporary research approaches and techniques. Digital methodologies refer to the tools, techniques, and approaches used to collect, analyze, and interpret digital data, often transforming traditional research frameworks in fields such as the social sciences, humanities, and data science. Ethical considerations in digital research are also of utmost importance, given the privacy breaches, data misuse, and algorithmic biases of the last few decades. This review examines how digital methodologies shape research practices and raise ethical challenges, such as data security and transparency in algorithmic decision-making processes. By analyzing case studies and current literature, it aims to reveal the practical and theoretical levels of how to balance scientific sensitivities and innovative insights, such as ensuring that digital research is inclusive, fair, and accountable. The review also explores the role of artificial intelligence in decision-making, the ethical implications of big data, and the responsibilities of digital researchers in ensuring public trust.
