Özet
Problems caused by substance use are not limited to substance use disorders but also include many potential health and safety problems that may cause from substance abuse, even if there aren’t any disorders. Especially, substance use at early ages is associated with risky behaviors. It is thought that the preferences of individuals to use or not to use substances are directly related to their attitudes toward substance use. It is known that individuals who have never used substance before have high awareness of substance use and their attitudes toward substances use are negative. Therefore, examining the attitudes of young people toward substance use is very valuable in terms of planning strategies to prevent substance use.
