Özet
The first three industrial revolutions facilitated the transition from manual production to automation, while Industry 4.0 has supported the concept of smart manufacturing aimed at flexible and efficient production of goods. This transformation has been made possible through Cyber- Physical Systems (CPS), enabling real- time communication and collaboration. However, this shift raises concerns about the dehumanization of work, as modern systems heavily rely on mechanization and data- driven processes. This has driven Industry 5.0, which aims to harmonize human skills with intelligent systems by blending the efficiency of automation with human cognitive abilities to create a more balanced and flexible industrial paradigm. In this book chapter, a bibliometric analysis of studies conducted from the inception of Industry 5.0 in 2019 to the present has been performed, and the topic has been discussed in depth. It also examines emerging trends, highlights dominant research areas, explores methodological frameworks, and summarizes existing findings on the topic.
