Unusual complications of circumcision

Özet
In this case report, subtotal penis necrosis and urethral fistula as complications secondary to circumcision were presented. In the first case, penile necrosis occurred secondary to circumcision by a monoterminal electrical scalpel. Penile reconstruction was performed in two stages. In the first stage, scrotal flaps were used for glanular reconstruction. In the second stage, the remaining corporal bodies were freed from the adjacent soft tissues, and covered with full-thickness skin grafts. The second case subject had been circumcised by an itinerant circumciser. A subsequent urethral fistula was successfully repaired with a distal turn-over flap that was covered by a proximal advancement flap. The results in both cases were satisfactory.
