Özet

Mimarlığın, geçmişten bu güne çeşitli sanat ve bilim dallarıyla etkileşim içerisinde olduğu bilinmektedir. Mimarlık; resim, müzik, heykel, edebiyat ve sinema gibi sanat dallarında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Mimarlık ve diğer tüm sanatlar, birlikteliklerini bir gelişim içerisinde sürdürmektedirler. Bu nedenle mimari üslup ne olursa olsun müzik, resim, moda tasarımı, heykel, grafik vb. sanatsal disiplinler ile uyum içerisinde gelişim göstermekte ve eserler ortaya koymaktadır. Mimarlık-müzik ilişkisine bakıldığında ise, bu ilişkinin diğer sanat dallarına göre daha yeni olduğu görülmektedir. Mimarlık ve müzik doğal yapıları gereği birtakım fiziksel, matematiksel gerçeklikler üzerinde şekillenmektedirler. Kendilerine özgü yöntem, ürün, süreç vb. sebeplerden ötürü tüm sanat dallarından ayrı bir konuma ulaşan mimarlık ve müziğin bu özellikleri ve karmaşık yapıları, tarihsel süreçte birbirlerini biraz daha birbirine yakın hale getirmiştir. Mimarın müzisyene öykündüğü tasarımlar, mimarlık ve müzik ilişkisinin ilk örneklerinin önemli bir bölümünü oluşturmaktadır. Genel olarak mimar, belli bir müzik türü, yapıtı veya müziğin ifade etmek istediği her ne ise, eserinde onu dile getirmek amacıyla müzikle dolaylı veya dolaysız olarak bir bağ kurmaktadır. Bu yapılarda kurulan bağ, mimarın nesnel yorumuna bağlıdır. Penda Mimarlar grubu, yakın zamanlarda, müzikten ilham alarak bunu somut bir mimariye dönüştürmüş ve “Soundwave” tasarımıyla dikkatleri üzerine çekmiştir. Bu bağlamda ilgili çalışmada da mimarlık-müzik ilişkisi bağlamında Soundwave örneği incelenecektir.

Architecture is known to interact with various arts and sciences from past to present. Architecture; painting, music, sculpture, literature and cinema has an important place in art. Architecture and all other arts carry on their unity in a development. For this reason, regardless of architectural style, music, painting, fashion design, sculpture, graphics, such as artistic disciplines and works in harmony with the development shows. When we look at the relationship between architecture and music, it is seen that this relation is more recent than other art branches. Architecture and music are shaped by a number of physical, mathematical realities. These features and complex structures of architecture and music, which are distinct from all branches of art, for reasons such as unique methods, products, processes have made each other a little closer to each other in the historical process. The designs that the architect emulates to the musician constitute an important part of the first examples of the relationship between architecture and music. In general, the architect, a certain type of music, artwork or whatever the music wants to express constitutes a direct or indirect connection with the music in order to articulate it. The relation established in these structures depends on the objective interpretation of the architect. The Penda Architects group has recently transformed this into a concrete architecture inspired by music and they attracted attention with “Soundwave” design. In this context, Soundwave will be examined in the context of architecture-music relation.
