Verilerin toplanmasında anket formu, Kısa Semptom Envanteri ve Rosenberg Benlik Saygı Ölçeği kullanılmış, analizlerinde Ki-Kare, Fisher Kesin-Ki Kare, Student-t, Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis ve One Way Aftova Testleri'nden yararlanılmıştır.Bulgular: Olgular yaş, eş yaşı ve evlilik süreleri açısından incelendiklerinde ortalama değerlerin infertil grupta daha yüksek olduğu yönünde anlamlı ilişki saptanmış, doğum yerleri, yaşadıkları yerler, eğitim, çalışma, sosyal destek, eşlerinin çalışma durumları, evlilik özellikleri, menstrual sikluslarına ait özellikler, kadın hastalığı yaşama durumları ile ilgili farklılıklar istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmamıştır.Sonuç: İnfertilite tedavisiyle oluşan gebelikler ile normal gebelikler psiko-sosyal etkileri açısından karşılaştırıldığında gebeliğin gebe için ifade ettiği anlam ve gebeliğin eşi etkilemesi yönünden istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark saptanmıştır. İnfertil ve fertil gruba ait Kısa Semptom Envanteri ile Rosenberg Benlik Saygı Ölçeği puanları benzer bulunmuştur.
