Özet
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data plays a critical role in maritime surveillance applications, enabling vessel monitoring, maritime safety, and prevention of illegal activities regardless of weather conditions or daylight. The diversity of SAR data across different frequency bands (X, C, S, etc.) also has significant implications for their analysis. In this study, the NASTaR dataset, derived from NovaSAR S-band SAR imagery, is used to classify maritime vessels including cargo, passenger, tanker, fishing, and sailing vessels using the SwinV2-B model. Results across six classification scenarios are compared with the baseline study in the literature.
